The Daniel Family

Jeffrey was raised in Fort Worth attending Westridge Church of the Nazarene and accepted Christ as his Savior as a teenager on a Young Life ski trip. He got involved with Campaigners (a bible study with Young Life) and during college started searching for a home church.

He attended Christ Chapel Bible Church where he was mentored by Assoc. Pastor Chad Winsor and involved with their singles ministry. He then attended McKinney Memorial Bible Church where he was involved with "The Huddle" a singles ministry. He was on the leadership team and mentored by Pastor Jon Sherman.

He then moved to Trinity Bible Church where he was invited to go on his first mission trip to Jamaica. While on this trip he learned of the work of the missionaries there (1 Peter 4:10), the ministry to the deaf children and was called by God to be a missionary.

Being single at the time he was not excited about going to the mission field alone but was willing to trust God for a suitable helper in this work if that was His will. Two months after returning from the mission trip he met Jodi. Jeffrey shared with her about his calling to the mission field on their first meeting and praise God she was excited.

She desired to serve on a mission trip and planned to go the next year. Jeffrey and Jodi were engaged that Christmas Eve and married March 1st, one month after Jodi's first mission trip.

The Daniel family served in Jamaica in a temporary capacity of Work team Coordinator for over 4 years for 6-8 weeks at a time prior to their move to Jamaica. Jeffrey and Jodi served on the Missions committee at TBC, led TBC's mission trips, involved in TBC's Kids ministry, the Choir, and TBC's First Impressions ministry. They also ran their own business in the Fort Worth area for over 15 years prior to their move to Jamaica.

Jodi was always involved with Center of Hope, Grace House, Music Camp at Christ Chapel, their neighborhood association board and the PTA at the children's school while living in Fort Worth.

Jodi grew up as a military kid moving from state to state and country to country. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at 8 yrs old and was baptized at 13. She grew up in church knowing God and now desires to serve Him and others through this calling for their family.

The Daniel family started serving the deaf full time in Montego Bay, Jamaica in October 2010. Working as ministry teams coordinator and the campus manager of the school where they lived. They have were active in a church plant, Bay Life Baptist in Montego Bay. Jeffrey served as deacon, Jodi helped with the worship team, Lexi played guitar with the worship team and helped lead the AWANA program. In 2017 God moved the Daniel family to Rio Bravo, Mexico to serve the deaf in a similar ministry. They serve as ministry team coordinator and also work alongside and support the local director of the ministry. They are currently missionaries with Commission To Every Nation and serve the deaf through a partnership with the ministry to the deaf in Mexico.
